This is Christian in his room laying on his bed/couch watching TV... normal place to find him.

This is Åse in the living room in her spot on the couch reading... one of her favorite things to do.

This is Flinsborg, the german city I went to, at night... well it is the walking street all light up for christmas.

This is Flinsborg's christmas tree... it was really pretty... but I dont't believe that they were done decorating it yet.

This is me and my host mom in the corky little Christmas shop in Germany. There were so many little things... it was really cute.

This is in the same shop... I had found these fat ballarina tree ornaments that I fell in love with... they were so funny.

Mmm... German Jule Vine... nice and hot and tastes good too.

So we found ourselves in this really nifty toy/joke shop. This is me playing with an ancient toy... only to see the sign a few seconds later that says DO NOT PLAY WITH!!! oops.

Everyone loves candy and chocolate shops right... especially german candy and chocolate... so where am I here... in a german candy and chocolate shop. But I was good and didn't buy anything... in this store.

This picture is being taken through the window of a glass shop. This guy was amazing with how he melted down the glass and melted two pieces together... I was in awe... at that and how much everything cost.

So the germans are very smart too... or they atleast have common senses. Me and my host mom are looking at rum bottles... outside in the street. The bottles only had a little bit of rum in them. In order to get the rest of the rum you had to go inside and purchase the bottle and the rum.

So my time with my first family, the Jørgensen's went really fast. They were a great family. My host dad Benny worked for a huge network company, so of course he was a computer genius. My host mom Åse works for hospice, kinda like a nurse in a nursing home. She is the sweetest. My host brother Christian is 18, and in his 2nd year of gymnasium. My host sister Nina is in New Zealand on her exchange right now, so I never got to meet her. I have been to the west coast of Denmark, Aalborg, Ribe, Falborg, and several other places in Denmark with them. We also went to Germany for a day and had a great time. They even let me host my Thanksgiving Feast at their house. They open their house to me with open arms and I will always appriciate it. They took me in as part of their family, and even gave me a chore. They ate all the food I cooked for them and even said it was good, which I would have to agree with. Thank you so much for everything, and for helping make the start of my exchange great.
